Most Hotel Rooms are in the Midtown, Times Square Area. This is a good spot to pick if you need to be near the Broadway Theater District, or Major Attractions.

The Upper West Side Area Hotels are nestled among brownstones and historic apartment buildings.

Upper East Side Hotels are near many New York Museums. It is a quieter location to stay than Midtown, some of the hotels in the area are converted luxury apartments that offer suites with kitchens, this is a good option for a longer stay in the city.

If your in town for a Sporting Event, NY Knicks, or the New York Rangers, at Madison Square Garden, Stay Near Herald Square, or in the Gramercy Flatiron District.

If you need a Hotel Near the Javits Convention Center, The West Side of Midtown is your best bet.

Doing Business on Wall Street, there are a number of Good Hotels near Lower Manhattan. It is a bit quieter than Midtown Area, however the west side is undergoing heavy construction.

The Downtown area of SoHo and TriBeCa is a good place to stay if you want to be in an area Near Shopping, Night clubs, Bars and Restaurants. Or move up north a bit to the Red Hot Chelsea Area.
