The main building of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York designed with Indiana limestone and Ohio sandstone. The building's lowest floor is 50 feet below sea level. and contains billions of dollars worth of gold.
Hours:
Tours are given Monday through Friday, except Bank holidays, at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes. To accommodate for security screening, arrive 20 minutes before your tour.
