South Street Seaport located on The Lower Manhattan Waterfront Area, just below the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River. Attractions include a maritime museum, shopping, cafes and restaurants. The South Street Museum has over 30,000 square feet of exhibition space and educational facilities in New York Citys largest concentration of restored 19th-century commercial buildings. The Museum houses exhibition galleries, a working print shop, archaeology center,maritime library, and the largest privately-owned fleet of historic ships in the country.

Shopping features stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, Brookstone, Ann Taylor, GameStop, Gap, J.Crew, Metropolitan Museum of Art Store, Mrs. Field's and more. Nearby restaurants include the Heartland Brewery & Beer Hall, J.P. Mustard, Pacific Grill, and, Skippers Pierside Cafe.
