SoHo TriBeca area is a good place to stay of you want to get away from the crowds on Times Square and Midtown. The area has many Galleries, Shops and Restaurants along with a great Nightlife Scene. If you are doing business near the Wall Street of Financial District and need to be nearby consider staying here as an alternative to Lower Manhattan Hotels. Lower Manhattan is currently undergoing rebuilding since 9-11. We have picked a few hotels that offer comfortable accommodations in the heart of the downtown area.
The Mercer, is a luxury hotel that offers loft type accommodations located up near Houston Street. Large oversized suited are available, but for a price. Moving down towards Tribeca near Canal is the SoHo Grand, a Hip Luxury boutique hotel. Further down crossing Canal Street is the TriBeCa Grand Hotel. Great Location on Church Street, they are now featuring what they call iStudio – a premium room outfitted with the digital pioneer Apple’s latest multimedia technology. How cool is that? If you don't stay there and you are in the area, stop in at the Church Lounge, a good cocktail bar and restaurant.
If you are looking for a larger selection of properties consider staying in one of the Midtown Hotels near the Theater District, this area has more hotels than anywhere in the city. |
