This area of the city is residential. There are many historic landmark apartment buildings and brownstones. Near the Museum of Natural History is On the Avenue Hotel, offering suites with private balconies. The Park 79 is a boutique style hotel closer to Central Park West. The Lucerne is a Luxury boutique property with rooms that feature wonderful views of the Hudson.
