Things to do in Times Square:
The West Side of Midtown is where you are surrounded by the massive oversized neon spectacular signs of Times Square. This area is incredibly crowded with people. Walk down Broadway around 42nd Street, to see the sights. This is the famous Broadway Theater District, where you can see one of the many plays and musicals that this area is noted for. It's not just shows, stop in at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, or the Massive Toy's R Us Store. There are lots of Restaurants, Shops, and Bars in this area, and there's always a crowd outside of the ABC and MTV Studios. Moving to the West Side is the Javits Center, the main Convention Center for New York City. On 46th Street, at Pier 86, is the site of the Intrepid Air and Space Museum, a favorite of kids.
